Spring marks the beginning of the end for major catfishin' and with it I decided to have a Group Cookout to bring fellow catfishin' friends together one last time before the season slows down.  We held the cookout on April 26th at the Sand Pits on the James River.  I would like to thank Bruce "RedCat" for hauling his gas grill on his boat to the event to be our main grillin' chief. Bruce you did a great job and we all appreciate it.  Many thanks to all who attended and helped setup and clean up and thanks goes out to everyone who showed up to the cookout.  For the this event the turn-out was great and I hope our Fall Cookout will be even better.

Spring marks the beginning of the end for major catfishin' and with it comes our Group Cookout. The event is for bringing fellow catfishin' friends together one last time before the season slows down.  We held the cookout on April 4th at the Deep Bottom Park on the James River.  I would like to thank Ralph Magee (B8itup) as event organizer along with myself. Ralph did an excellent job and I look forward to working with him on the Fall event.  I'd also like to thank Bruce (Redcat) and Kenneth (Paraguayguy) for their help in cooking the hamburgers and hot dogs.  Many thanks to all who attended and helped setup and clean up and thanks goes out to everyone who showed up to the cookout.  The event was a complete success and I look forward to this Fall's event! If you catfish in Virginia, you don't want to miss out on this event; come join us at Riverlizard.com and become a active member and meet the rest of the VA catfishing group.
